Objectives of the Festival

The festival should become self sustainable.

For the Tourism sector classical concerts should be a bonus and attract more the regular quality tourists

It should pave the way for local music education and practice

It should pave the way for acceptance of Western Classical Music in India

It should open the doors to embassies and other institutions to get involved with Goa. It hardly happens.

New concepts with the integration of Western Classical musicians of Indian origin should create a sense of identification with music and performers.

It should set the stage for a larger festival and eventually be recognized as Asia's Premier Music Festival
