KETEVAN SACRED MUSIC FESTIVAL
SOCIAL PROJECT
THE SOCIAL PROJECT / SOCIAL MUSIC FESTIVAL IS A PROJECT THAT PRIMARILY FUNCTIONS AS A NETWORK, SEEKING TO WELCOME THOSE WHO ARE GENERALLY UNEXPOSED TO THE PRIVILEDGE OF THE LOCAL ARTISTIC AND MUSICAL FRAMEWORK IN THEIR CONTEMPORARY WORLD.
Our SOCIAL MUSIC FESTIVAL is a project of social and musical promotion in which children, youth, and local artists who would never come in touch with music and art forms (social exclusion) can find a space to present their perspectives on art and also receive teacher training in their respective area of interest through an art project, education, social insertion, and retrieval of their local artistic heritage.
The Festival wants to provide a space for dialogue and cooperation with the more underprivileged strata of our society. To carry out different social, cultural, and educational tasks within a large project we count on several partner institutions, which network makes the realization of several activities such as concerts, didactic concerts, music flash mobs in the villages and musical visits to Schools, Orphan Houses, and Hospices, possible. This project is possible as a result of institutional and community collaboration only.
Our commitment to coexistence leads us to work with all strata of society, enabling an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the beauty of the world of music.
Art humanizes us, and we all deserve the opportunity to fill our lives with music.
